Freelance ASD Assessors (HCPC Registered) - Fully Remote/Hampshire

 

Join our team of ASD Assessors and get the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients, conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments in a remote setting or with travel across Hampshire & Isle of Wight.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting ASD diagnostic assessments with children and adults. 
  • Completing ADOS assessments, developmental/case histories and getting involved in MDT meetings.
  • Ensuring an excellent quality of service in both remote and face-to-face assessment settings. 
  • Advising and consulting with patients and their families on how to manage symptoms on a day-to-day basis, including delivering training and other post-diagnostic support tasks. 


We'd love it if you had:

  • 2 or more years' experience in Autism diagnosis and post-diagnostic interventions for adults and children.
  • Full ADOS training
  • Extensive experience in completing detailed developmental histories (ADI-R training is highly desirable)
  • Experience delivering online and face-to-face assessments, including differential diagnosis experience
  • HCPC registration
  • Strong understanding of DSM-V criteria and NICE guidelines in relation to ASD

  • A great communicator with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals with various needs.
  • Person-centred - a great communicator with the ability to effectively communicate with service users, colleagues and other healthcare professionals
  • Tech savvy – ability to use basic Microsoft tools such as Teams, Word and Outlook
  • Highly organised with the ability to work autonomously, managing your own caseload without guidance
  • Positive and passionate about our mission
  • Able to build great relationships and work collaboratively within a team
